Fisher Towers

Description: The Fisher Towers are a prominent sandstone formation east of Moab. They were named in 1880 after a settler who lived nearby. Today they serve mainly as a popular hiking and climbing area. They can be reached via a short dirt road, which is usually in very good condition and can be driven on with any car.

Our rating: During our travels through the Southwest, we have often passed the Fisher Towers. Unfortunately, we had no time to hike, but even so a little detour is worthwhile. You will always find nice photo motifs. At sunset, when the rocks glow orange, a visit is especially worthwhile.
