Description: Watson Lake is one of two water reservoirs that impound Granite Creek. In 1997 the whole area was bought by the city of Prescott and now serves as a recreation area. The trail we hiked was well developed and easy to find and walk. However, you can also explore the area yourself and find your own way.

Our rating: We liked the small hike at Watson Lake very much. You can also extend the hike considerably, even to hike around the whole lake is possible. Should you be in the area is worth a detour.
