Description: The June Lake Loop is a 16mi loop trail past four lakes on the east side of the Sierra Nevada. The area is primarily a tourist destination. There are hotels, numerous campgrounds and plenty of recreational opportunities.

Our rating: We drove the Loop during our vacation in September 2019. We just wanted to see what the road and landscape has to offer.

However, we had expected a little more from it. There were the one or other nice photo motif, but it did not really sweep us off our feet. So to drive by it is nice. In our opinion, you do not have to take a huge detour.
