Teapot Arch

Description: The approach from the main road in Panaca to the Arch is short. Coming from Cedar City, turn right onto N 5th St. After a good mile, turn right onto a dirt road. From here it is only a few hundred feet until you can see the Arch. From the dirt road, several spur roads and trails go up to the Arch in a star shape. With an off-road vehicle you could probably drive up to the arch, but even on foot it is only a few feet until you are standing right in front of it.

Our rating: A pretty arch, somewhat unusual because of its shape and white color, which is well worth a short detour. During our visit in June 2023, the dirt road was in a rather bad and rough condition. A high ground clearance car was definitely necessary here.
