Matt´s Offroad Recovery/ Winder Towing

Description: Matt is a Youtuber who rescues people and their cars from difficult conditions around Hurricane/Utah with his towing truck´s. The channel has been around since March 2019 and is already becoming very popular after only a short amount of time. Matt and his crew have over 1 million subscribers and are known far beyond the borders of the USA.
Those who want to watch Matt and his staff at work can do so on Youtube . You can also meet Matt at his official webpage and buy some of the merch.

Our rating: Being fans of Matt, his crew and his Youtube channel, it was obvious that we would stop by Winder Towing/Matt's Off-Road Recovery in Hurricane during our vacation in April 2022. Unfortunately Matt and almost the whole team was on the road in Moab but we still got a tour of the site and the garage. We also got to meet Ed, who was holding down the fort. We were welcomed totally nice and were allowed to look at everything. We had a lot of fun and of course a few souvenirs also went home with us.

Hurricane Easter Car Show

Description: Every year at Easter the Hurricane Rotary Club organizes the Easter Car Show. Countless car lovers and enthusiasts come together to present their treasures. There are a lot of great cars on display and you can have a chat with their owners. We attended the April 2022 Car Show because we wanted to meet Matt from Matt's Offroad Recovery and his crew in person. Additionally, we were able to admire the famous yellow cars (Banana and Morrvair). These are the vehicles Matt uses to tow peoples´cars out of snow, mud and sand.

Our rating: Of course, visiting the Matt's Offroad Recovery booth was the Car Show highlight for us. Meeting Matt and the crew was great. We took plenty of pictures, got autographs and even had the opportunity for a quick chat.
But we also had fun looking at the cars and enjoying a delicious lunch from the food trucks. Anyone who is interested in cars and is in the area at Easter will certainly find a lot to discover here.
