Description: Every U2 fan knows the Joshua Tree album with the famous Joshua Tree on the back cover. When the tree fell many years ago it was made into a pilgrimage site by fans. So you can still visit the remains of the tree with all sorts of devotional objects that fans have deposited over time.
Location: On Highway 190, about 14mi west of Father Crowley Lookout near the west entrance to Death Valley NP respectively 13mi southeast of Keeler. The tree is located on the south side of Highway 190, about a quarter mile from the road.

Our rating: As U2 fans we wanted to visit the Joshua Tree for a long time. There is not much left of the tree, but we still liked the location. You really have to wonder sometimes about what is out there. This is certainly a very special place that may be interesting for real fans at most.
