- Open all year round from 8am - 4pm.
*The Anual Pass is so to speak the "flat rate" for all Parks managed by the National Park Service. The pass costs a one-time fee of $80 and can be purchased at the entrance to each National Park, National Monument, etc. The pass is valid for 13 months.

Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks NM
Description: The park protects white, towering sandstone towers that resemble giant, pointed tents. In the Pueblo Indian language, Kasha-Katuwe means white cliffs..
There are two trails in the park. One leads up to a great viewpoint (Canyon Trail) and the other leads in a loop down past the rocks (Cave Loop Trail).
Canyon Trail
Trail length: 0.9mi
Altitude difference: approx. 656ft
Time needed: 3 hours
Difficulty level: easy to moderate - The trail is very well developed. You may have to climb a little on the way up to the viewpoint.
Cave Loop Trail
Trail length: 0.7mi roundtrip
Altitude difference: –
Time needed: 1 hour
Difficulty level: easy - The trail is very well developed and more or less flat.
Our rating: This is an unusual, great park. Unfortunately, this place has also become more and more crowded in recent years. There are days when you have to wait up to 90 minutes for a parking space. But other than that, we had a great time here. It was fun to hike the canyon and enjoy the views from above. We can recommend a visit here to everyone. Our recommendation: if you want to avoid stress, you should be at the parking lot by 9 am at the latest.
