Our experience with hotels Canada

Basically, the same applies to accommodations in Canada that applies to the USA. Here we have summarized our experience with it.

Accommodation in Canada

On our previous trips through Canada, we have used various accommodation options. In 1989, for example, we traveled almost exclusively by tent and spent the night directly in the Rocky Mountain national parks. In 2002 we stayed in B&Bs. Since these vacations are already very long ago, it does not make much sense for us to give ratings for them here. Therefore, the main topic here will be the hotels on our trip in the fall of 2021.

2021 we stayed exclusively in chain hotels. This was mainly due to the short preparation time. There are many privately run hotels and motels in Canada. Unfortunately, we did not have much time to explore them in detail. All the hotels we stayed in were very good. We can recommend all of them for an overnight stay. In general, we had the impression that the chain hotels in Canada generally maintain a higher standard than in the United States. Everything was very well maintained and clean.
