Description: Peter Camani is an artist and sculptor based in Burk's Falls. His estate, Midlothian Castle, is known for its extensive sculpture garden with countless statues and structures. It took more than 25 years to erect the Screaming Heads and all the art installations on the more than 3-hectare site. The large concrete structures are arranged in such a way that, when viewed from the air, they form the shape of a dragon. They are intended as a warning against environmental destruction and “symbolize the earth rebelling against what we are doing to it.”
