CN-Tower

Description: The city's landmark is 553 meters high and was the tallest television tower in the world until 2009. The tower is open to visitors and attracts over two million people every year thanks to its spectacular view of the city. In 1995, it was added to the list of Modern Architectural Wonders of the World. The CN Tower is one of Toronto's top attractions. As a result, everything here is organized very professionally to get as many people as possible to the viewing platforms as quickly as possible. The ride to the top is an experience in itself, as the elevator is made of glass, allowing you to watch as you are literally lifted upwards. At the top, there are several options for even more thrills, whether it's walking across the glass floor, going even higher to “The Top,” or taking “The Edge Walk.” The less adventurous can simply enjoy the great view or savor a meal in the restaurant.

Our rating: As the city's landmark, the CN Tower is, in our opinion, part of a Toronto visit. A view from the top over the huge metropolis is really spectacular and impressive. We can recommend a visit.

Roundhouse Park

Description: The park is located directly at the foot of the CN Tower and is home to the Railway Museum, among other things. On the square, you can see the former locomotive turntable and numerous locomotives and railway cars on display.

Our rating: A pleasant park with some beautiful photo opportunities at the foot of the CN Tower. There is also a brewery on the square. This is definitely a great place for railway enthusiasts.
