Description: The Keg is a Canadian steakhouse chain. The company was founded in 1971 by George Tidball in North Vancouver, British Columbia. The chain now has over 160 locations.
Our rating: The Keg is by far our favorite steakhouse chain in Canada. The restaurants are very elegant and beautifully decorated. There are lots of little nooks and alcoves, so you immediately feel welcome and at home. The waiters are very attentive and have an answer to every question. But the most important thing, of course, is the food. From the quality of the meat to the taste, everything has always been excellent. We can highly recommend The Keg to anyone who wants to eat a really good steak.

Description: Dockside Social in Little Current offers a creative, modern menu featuring specialties such as sushi, ramen, and unique pizza specialties like pepperoni with spicy honey.
Our rating: Delicious pizza that you can enjoy while taking in the fantastic view of the bay. I really like white pizza, so I was delighted to see it on the menu again. Both the regular salami pizza and the “salad” pizza tasted great. We highly recommend this place.

Description: When reading travel tips for Montreal, this restaurant is almost always mentioned. Actually, it is not a restaurant in the true sense, it is more like a huge stationary food truck where you can get food to go. Maybe it was because of the Corona pandemic, but there was no seating during our visit. The giant orange is famous for its poutine. But the menu also includes burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and everything else you would expect from a fast food restaurant. There is another special feature, however, because the only drink available here is orange juice.
Our rating: As mentioned above, poutine wasn't really our thing, so we opted for burgers and a club sandwich. It wasn't the best fast food we've ever had, but both dishes were okay. The orange juice, however, was very unusual. It looked as if it had been freshly squeezed, but as soon as we tasted it, we had our doubts. The juice was so sweet that we thought it had been sweetened. In our opinion, you can safely skip the overly sweet juice.
