Madison Valley

Description: Madison Valley is located in the western part of the park between West Yellowstone and Madison Junction. Especially in spring it is a great place to see herds of bison. Of course, there are plenty of other animals to be found here.

Our rating: We always like to drive through here, because usually there are some interesting animals to watch. So far we have almost always been lucky. We can highly recommend a drive, especially in spring. There is also a lot of nice infrastructure in West Yellowstone in the form of stores, restaurants and accommodations.
