Gooseberry Badlands
Description: The trailhead to the Gooseberry Badlands is located just off Highway 431, about 30mi west of Worland. There is a large parking area right at the trailhead. The trail is well maintained and partially paved. If you want to hike the entire 1.4mi loop through the badlands, you have to climb a few steps about halfway.
The badlands are colorful and you can admire some very nicely shaped sandstone formations.
Our rating:The Gooseberry Badlands are not the most spectacular of all badlands we have ever visited, but the short loop was still fun. If you're in the area, you should stop by.
