Hogback Mountain Conservation Area

Description: Hogback Mountain is an elevation west of Marlboro. A foundation has taken over the protection of the area and manages it.

Our rating: In October 2013, on our way from Conway to Niagara Falls, we passed a viewpoint of the Hogback Mountains rather by chance. In search of spots with beautifully colored trees we stopped here. Unfortunately, the Color Peak was already passed, so that the really great color of the leaves was already gone. Also here one should have been a little earlier in the year. Nevertheless, the view over the surrounding hills was great.
