Natural Bridge of Alabama

Description: This is the longest Natural Bridge discovered so far east of the Rocky Mountains. The sandstone bridge has a span of 148ft and is 60ft high. For safety reasons, you cannot hike across the bridge, but there is a short trail below the bridge. The trail is just under a mile long and very easy to hike.

Trail length: 1mi roundtrip
Altitude difference:
Time needed: 1-2 hours
Difficulty level: easy

Our rating: The bridge may not be the biggest highlight we have ever seen, but we really liked the bridge with the three openings. Since the bridge is located in a very dense forest, it is very very dark. You can hardly take usable photos because there is just very little light available. The short tail was quite nice.
