1880 Town

Description: 1880 Town is a western town with more than 30 original buildings from the time of the Wild West. They are lovingly restored and furnished. Additionally, some original sets of the Kevin Costner movie Dances with Wolfs can be found here. Until 2008, one of the horses from the movie also lived here on the premises.

Our rating: We visited 1880 Town in August 1994. We especially wanted to see the sets, of the then very popular movie Dances with Wolfs . The buildings were nicely renovated and furnished. There was plenty to see. If you are interested in old western towns and open air museums, you will definitely like it here.
