360° Chicago Observation Deck

Description: 360° Chicago is an observation deck located at the 94th floor of the 100-story high 875 Michigan Avenue building (until 2008 John Hancock Center). The skyscraper is 344m high and is located right at the Magnificent Mile. When it opened in 1969, the building was the second tallest building in the world, after the Empire State Building. It is mainly used as an office and apartment building. In the basement is, among other things, an branch of the Cheesecake Factory, one of our favorite chain restaurants.. 360° Chicago offers great views over Chicago. You can enjoy the amazing panorama in any direction. Particularly at night, when the city lights start to shine, the whole scenery is almost magical.

If you have a City Pass, you get a Fast Pass, which can significantly reduce waiting times, especially on weekends and holidays.

Tip: Those who would like to save the entrance fee for the viewing floor can also visit the Signature Room, one floor above and have a drink at the bar.

Our rating: In our opinion, the Observation Deck offers the best view over the city. It's great to enjoy the sunset and watch how slowly all city lights were turned on. As far as we are concerned, the view from the top is part of every visit to a major American city.
