Wildcat Hills SRA

Description: The Wildcat Hills are formed by a step in the terrain. Erosion has created canyons, buttes and other interesting terrain. The small park has a visitor center from which several hiking trails start to explore the area. From the terrace of the visitor center you have a beautiful view of the Great Plains.

Our rating: We passed by here rather by chance during our drive through Nebraska. Accordingly, we had no time to explore the area more closely. Therefore, we left it at a look at the Great Plains. But we put the Recreation Area on our bucket list and want to explore it a little bit more when we are in the area again.
