Zum Zeitpunkt, zu dem diese Seiten hier entstehen (Februar 2020), liegt unser Besucht fast 20 Jahre zur\u00fcck. Auch wenn wir uns sehr gerne an unsere drei Wochen auf den Inseln zur\u00fcckerinnern, sind alle unser Beurteilungen auf 20 Jahre alten Erinnerungen begr\u00fcndet. Der Wasserfall befindet sich im Waimea River SP und ist einer der wenigen Wasserf\u00e4lle auf Kauai, den man von der Stra\u00dfe aus sehen kann. Seit 2006 mehrere Menschen zu Tode kamen, sind alle Trails zum Wasserfall geschlossen. Offiziell kann man weder die Kante noch das Becken unterhalb des Wasserfalls erreichen.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Unsere Bewertung:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Der Wasserfall ist sehr sch\u00f6n anzusehen und leicht zu erreichen. Wer auf Kauai ist kann ihn sich ohne gro\u00dfen Aufwand anschauen. Der Wasserfall ist au\u00dferdem nicht saisonal und kann das ganze Jahr \u00fcber bewundert werden.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element underline;\"><strong>Beschreibung:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Die Insel ist recht klein und bietet viele kleine Highlights die einen Stopp lohnen. Es gibt keine Stra\u00dfe, die rund um die Insel f\u00fchrt, denn der Waimea Canyon und die Napali K\u00fcste sind nicht verbaut. Deswegen sollte man den Aufenthalt so planen, dass man beim Hin- und Herfahren m\u00f6glichst wenig Zeit verschwendet.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Unsere Bewertung:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Kauai war mit Abstand unsere Lieblingsinsel. Mit Ausnahme von Oahu l\u00e4uft das Leben auf Hawaii eh relativ gechillt ab, aber hier auf Kauai hatte man wirklich das \u00fcberall propagierte <em>Hang Loose<\/em> Gef\u00fchl. Wer es eilig hat, sollte der Insel lieber fern bleiben.\u00a0Kauai w\u00fcrden wir bei einem Hawaii-Urlaub auf keinen Fall auslassen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div In der Vorbereitung des Urlaubs war \u00fcberall zu lesen, dass man so ein Fest unbedingt einmal mitmachen sollte.<\/p><p>Wir haben das Luau von Smith\u00b4s Tropical Paradise besucht. Die Luaus starten, je nach Saison, um 16.45 Uhr bzw. 17 Uhr und kosten 108$\/Person. Inklusive sind eine Tour \u00fcber das Gel\u00e4nde und durch den Botanischen Garten, das Luau mit anschlie\u00dfendem Essen und eine Hula Show.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>F\u00fcr das Navi:<\/strong><\/span> 3-5971 Kuhio Hwy, Kapa\u02bba, HI 96746<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Unsere Bewertung:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Das Luau hier auf Kauai hat uns ganz gut gefallen. Es war interessant zu sehen, wie ein Schwein in einem Erdofen gegart wird und etwas \u00fcber traditionelle Zubereitungsarten von hawaiianischem Essen zu lernen. Im gro\u00dfen und ganzen war auch das Essen sehr lecker, auch wenn das eine oder andere f\u00fcr einen mitteleurop\u00e4ischen Gaumen etwas seltsam schmeckte.
