Die Rainbow Bridge liegt auf dem Gebiet der <span style=\"color: #ccffcc;\"><a style=\"color: #ccffcc;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sussner.net\/index.php\/der-suedwesten\/arizona\/rund-um-page-utah\/glen-canyon-nra\/\">Glen Canyon NRA<\/a><\/span>. Grunds\u00e4tzlich gibt es zwei Wege die Rainbow Bridge zu erreichen. Zum einen den Weg \u00fcber eine mehrt\u00e4gige Wanderung und zum anderen den Weg mit dem Boot \u00fcber den Lake Powell. Auch dabei gibt es zwei M\u00f6glichkeiten. Zum einen kann man ein Boot mieten und zum anderen mit einem Tourboot fahren. Wir haben letztere M\u00f6glichkeit gew\u00e4hlt und sind im Oktober 2018 mit einem Tourboot zur Rainbow Bridge gefahren. Je nach Wasserstand im Lake Powell ist das eine Halb- oder eine Ganztagestour. Bei uns dauertet die 78km lange Fahrt zur Rainbow Bridge 3 Stunden. Im Moment (Oktober 2018) kostet die Tour 126,23$\/Person. Die aktuellen Kondiitionen finden sich auf der <span style=\"color: #ccffcc;\"><a style=\"color: #ccffcc;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lakepowell.com\/things-to-do\/boat-tours\/rainbow-bridge-tour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Homepage des kommerziellen Anbieters<\/a><\/span>. ADAC Mitglieder bekommen einen Rabatt.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Anfahrt mit dem Tourboot:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Da man im Oktober den Shortcut am Castle Rock, wegen dem niedrigen Wasserstand, nicht fahren konnte, mussten wir die l\u00e4ngere Anfahrt \u00fcber den Colorado in Kauf nehmen. Die Fahrt durch den Glen Canyon ist recht abwechslungsreich und da wir nicht selber fahren mussten, konnten wir uns ganz auf die vorbeiziehende Landschaft konzentrieren.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Beschreibung der Wanderung:<\/strong><\/span> Die Wanderung zur Rainbow Bridge ist sehr einfach, denn es gibt einen gut ausgebauten Weg. Neuerdings kann man nun auch auf die andere Seite der Br\u00fccke gelangen. Der Nachteil der gef\u00fchrten Tour ist, dass man nur 1,5 Stunden Aufenthalt an der Rainbow Bridge hat. Das ist sehr kurz, denn mann muss erst mal 1.5km bis zur Br\u00fccke laufen. Will man auch ein wenig die Landschaft genie\u00dfen, bleibt an der Br\u00fccke nur noch sehr wenig Zeit um zu verweilen. Das empfanden wir als echten Nachteil. Beim n\u00e4chsten Besuch werden wir mit dem eigenen (Haus)boot kommen um einfach mehr Zeit zu haben.
