underline;\"><strong>Beschreibung:<\/strong><\/span> Der Grand Coulee Dam ist eine gewaltige Talsperre, die den Columbia River zum Franklin Delano Roosevelt Lake aufstaut. Es handelt sich um eine Gewichtsstaumauer mit einer Kronenl\u00e4nge von fast 1,6km. Neben dem Hoover Dam ist der Grand Coulee Dam die bekannteste Talsperre der USA. Der Dam wurde 1941 in Betrieb genommen und dient der Bew\u00e4sserung und Stromerzeugung.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Unsere Bewertung:<\/strong><\/span> Der Dam ist riesig und sehr beeindruckend. Wir sind 1998 auf unserem Weg vom Glacier NP zum North Cascades NP hier vorbei gekommen. Einen gro\u00dfen Umweg ist der Staudamm vielleicht nicht wert, aber wenn man in der N\u00e4he ist, lohnt sich ein Stopp allemal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
