Von den drei Einheiten (Sheep Rock Unit, Clamo Unit, Painted Hills Unit) haben wir im Juni 2015 die Painted Hills Unit besucht. Diese wird von bunten Tonh\u00fcgeln dominiert, die durch Einlagerung von verschiedenen Mineralien Die H\u00fcgel sind bunt gestreift und gemustert. Die Natur hat mal wieder gezaubert. Sehr sehenswert. Hier ist auch ein sehr guter Platz f\u00fcr den Sonnenuntergang. Man kann kaum glauben, dass die H\u00fcgel einfach so, v\u00f6llig nat\u00fcrlich entstanden sind. Sie sehen fast aus, als h\u00e4tte ein K\u00fcnstler sie bemalt.
