Hier hat man schon mal einen tollen Blick auf den Fluss und das Vista House. Auf jeden Fall einen Stopp wert. underline;\"><strong>Beschreibung:<\/strong><\/span> Der Larch Mountain ist ein Berg, ein paar Kilometer s\u00fcdlich des Columbia Rivers. Man erreicht ihn \u00fcber einen Abzweig vom Historic Columbia River Highway zwischen dem Woman\u00b4s Forum Viewpoint und dem Vista House. Die Stra\u00dfe ist allerdings meistens zwischen November und Ende Mai\/Anfang Juni geschlossen. Auf dem Parkplatz angekommen l\u00e4uft man noch etwa 500m steil bergauf um den Sherrard Point zu erreichen. Hier hat man eine atemberaubende Sicht auf f\u00fcnf der Kascaden Vulkane.\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Achtung:<\/span><\/strong><\/span> Die Stra\u00dfe ist wegen des Wetters normalerweise ab Kilometer 16 von November bis Mai oder Anfang Juni gesperrt.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Unsere Bewertung:<\/strong><\/span> Trotz des guten Wetters war die Sicht bei unserem Besuch im Juni 2015 ein wenig diesig. Trotzdem ist die Aussicht hier wundersch\u00f6n. F\u00fcr uns ist das ein <em>must see<\/em> wenn man hier in der Gegend ist. Jahrhunderts, als der Historic Columbia River Highway entstand, wurde der 225m hohe Basaltfelsen als Aussichtspunkt ausgew\u00e4hlt. Der Architekt Edgar M. Lazarus entwarf daf\u00fcr 1916 das Vista House, das seither hier am Crown Point steht. Hier bleibt jeder stehen und macht, wie seit jeher, eine Rast. Es ist einfach sch\u00f6n hier. class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Beschreibung:<\/strong><\/span> Eines der wirklich tollen Features der Columbia River Gorge sind die vielen Wasserf\u00e4lle die es hier gibt. Viele kann man besuchen. Einige sind sehr leicht zu erreichen, f\u00fcr einige muss man ein wenig wandern und f\u00fcr einige muss man weiter wandern. Hei\u00dft also, es ist f\u00fcr jeden etwas dabei. Wir haben uns bei unserem Besuch im Juni 2015 einige der Wasserf\u00e4lle angesehen.\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ccffcc;\"><a style=\"color: #ccffcc;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.columbiarivergorge.info\/waterfalls.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Infos und \u00dcbersicht zu den Wasserf\u00e4llen<\/a><\/span><\/p><p>Eine kleine Bemerkung dazu. Durch den Film <em>Twilight<\/em> wurden die Multnomah Falls weltbekannt. Seit dem steppt hier der B\u00e4r. Besonders an Wochenenden kann es passieren, dass man keinen Parkplatz bekommt. Auch bei unserem Besuch war die Situation richtig chaotisch. Darauf sollte man sich vielleicht einstellen, wenn man hierher m\u00f6chte. Bei den anderen Wasserf\u00e4llen war es teilweise auch voll, aber es war \u00fcberall ein Parkplatz zu finden.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Unsere Bewertung:<\/strong><\/span> Wir haben bei unserem Besuch im Juni 2015 alle Wasserf\u00e4lle angesehen, die mehr oder weniger an der Stra\u00dfe lagen. Man muss zu allen Wasserf\u00e4llen einen kleinen Trail laufen. Diese Trails sind aber alle kurz und leicht. Uns hat der Besuch an den Wasserf\u00e4llen sehr gut gefallen und wir k\u00f6nnen es nur empfehlen, selbst wenn man nur Zeit f\u00fcr einen oder zwei der Wasserf\u00e4lle
