Er besitzt verschiedene, besondere \u00d6kosysteme und steht seit 1910 unter Schutz. Zusammen mit seinem kanadischen Nachbarn, dem Waterton Lakes NP, wurde er 1995 von der UNESCO zum Weltnaturerbe erkl\u00e4rt.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Aktuell 2025:<\/strong><\/span> Auch in diesem Jahr braucht man nicht nur f\u00fcr das Befahren der Going to the sun road, sondern auch f\u00fcr weitere Stra\u00dfen im Park ein Permit. Hochgebirgsstra\u00dfe. Sie ist 80km lang und verbindet den \u00f6stlichen und westlichen Eingang zum Nationalpark miteinander. Dabei f\u00fchrt sie \u00fcber den 2026m hohen Logan Pass. Da hier im Winter oft \u00fcber 20m Schnee liegen, ist die Stra\u00dfe extrem schwer zu r\u00e4umen. Deswegen ist sie meist auch nur im Sommer ge\u00f6ffnet. Zwischen Mitte Oktober und Mitte Mai ist der Pass oft nicht befahrbar. 2011 wurde der Pass erst am 13.Juli ge\u00f6ffnet.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Unsere Bewertung:<\/span> <\/strong>Die Going-to-the-Sun Road ist eine ganz tolle Stra\u00dfe. Auch wenn unsere Fahrt schon eine gef\u00fchlte Ewigkeit zur\u00fcckliegt (Juni 1998) erinnern wir uns noch sehr gerne daran. Leider liegt der Park ein wenig abseits der g\u00e4ngigen Routen, daher haben wir es noch nicht wieder zur\u00fcck geschafft. Irgendwann werden wir aber sicher mal wieder vorbeischauen. Eine Fahrt hier \u00fcber den Logan Pass lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und bietet tolle Aussichten und Fotomotive.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
