Man f\u00e4hrt 41.5km auf der <span style=\"color: #ccffcc;\"><a style=\"color: #ccffcc;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sussner.net\/index.php\/der-suedwesten\/utah\/rund-um-escalante\/hole-in-the-rock-road\/\">Hole in the Rock Road<\/a><\/span> und biegt dann links in die BLM 252 Rd ab. <strong>Koordinate: Breite 37.466624, L\u00e4nge -111.223908.<\/strong> Nach einem guten Kilometer h\u00e4lt man sich links und nach weiteren 1.65km hat man den Parkplatz und Trailhead zu den Slot Canyons des Dry Fork erreicht. <strong>Koordinate: Breite 37.476754, L\u00e4nge -111.220259.<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Beschreibung der Wanderung:<\/strong><\/span> Bei unserem Besuch im November 2009 hatten wir erst Probleme den richtigen Weg nach unten zu finden. Wir hatten damals kein GPS Ger\u00e4t dabei und wussten so nicht ganz genau wo wir hin m\u00fcssen. Dabei ist es ganz einfach, denn man muss <em>nur<\/em> nach unten. Es geht meist \u00fcber Slickrock und so gibt es nicht immer ausgetretenen Wege. Wie immer in freiem Gel\u00e4nde ist ein GPS Ger\u00e4t ganz n\u00fctzlich. Ist man unten im Wash angekommen, wendet man sich erst mal nach links. Hier befindet sich der relativ ebene Dry Fork. Wanderung:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Der Peek-a-boo Slot Canyon befindet sich etwa 200m \u00f6stlich des Dry Fork. Der Eingang des Peek-a-boo Slot Canyon befindet sich links und man kann ihn leicht \u00fcbersehen. Noch schwerer ist es in den Canyon zu kommen, denn man muss eine ca. 4m hohe Wand hinaufklettern. Das ist nur was f\u00fcr jemanden, der trittsicher ist. Der Sandstein ist zwar griffig und es gibt ein paar Mulden zum festhalten, trotzdem ist es nicht ganz einfach hier hoch zu kommen. Der Canyon an sich ist recht kurz, erfordert aber einiges an Kletterei, denn er hat keinen ebenen Boden.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Unsere Bewertung:<\/span><\/strong> Wenn man den Aufstieg in Kauf nimmt, ist das mit Abstand der interessanteste Canyon hier, auch was Fotomotive betrifft. Das hier ist nichts f\u00fcr Menschen mit Platzangst, denn der Canyon ist eng, sehr eng. Daf\u00fcr ist er eben und rein aus dem Aspekt her, w\u00e4re er sehr leicht zu begehen.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Unsere Bewertung:<\/span><\/strong> Wer sich gerne durch enge Spalten quetscht und das Abenteuer sucht, dem wird es hier gefallen. Der Peek-a-boo und auch der Spooky Slot Canyon k\u00f6nnen durchwandert werden. Das hei\u00dft man kann aus beiden Canyons am Ende herausklettern. Au\u00dferdem k\u00f6nnen beide Canyons \u00fcber einen Loop verbunden werden. Dabei muss man aber klettern und es k\u00f6nnte eventuell auch ein Seil von N\u00f6ten sein.
