Anfahrt:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Die Anfahrt ist lang, aber sehr einfach. Von Escalante kommend, biegt man kurz nach dem Ort nach rechts in die <span style=\"color: #ccffcc;\"><a style=\"color: #ccffcc;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sussner.net\/index.php\/der-suedwesten\/utah\/rund-um-escalante\/hole-in-the-rock-road\/\">Hole in the Rock Road<\/a><\/span> ab. (Der Abzweig ist beschildert). <strong>Koordinate: Breite 37.727643, L\u00e4nge -111.531458.<\/strong> Der ungeteerten Hole in the Rock Road folgt man nun f\u00fcr 66.4km. Kurz nach dem Sooner Wash biegt man dann links in die BLM276 Rd ab. Ab jetzt befindet man sich in der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sussner.net\/index.php\/der-suedwesten\/arizona\/rund-um-page-utah\/glen-canyon-nra\/\"><span style=\"color: #ccffcc;\">Glen Canyon NRA<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<strong>Koordinate: Breite 37.322248, L\u00e4nge -111.045142.\u00a0<\/strong>Dieser ebenfalls ungeteerten Stra\u00dfe folgt man f\u00fcr weitere 2.4km, bevor man am Parkplatz ankommt. <strong>Koordinate: Breite 37.324856, L\u00e4nge -111.022675.\u00a0<\/strong>Der Stra\u00dfenzustand der Hole in the Rock Road variiert mit der Jahreszeit und dem Wetter. H\u00e4ufig ist sie in ganz gutem Zustand. Am besten erkundigt man sich im BLM in Escalante nach dem Verh\u00e4ltnissen. Bei unserem Besuch im Oktober 2018 war das Befahren der gesamten Strecke kein Problem.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Beschreibung der Wanderung:<\/strong><\/span> Vom Trailhead geht es zuerst \u00fcber eine riesige Sandd\u00fcne hinunter in den Willow Gulch. Der H\u00f6henunterschied betr\u00e4gt hier etwa 50m. Auf dem Weg nach unten kommt man an einem gro\u00dfen, sehr interessanten Hoodoo vorbei, dessen Hut aus einer Platte besteht. Im Gulch angekommen folgt man nun dem Wash in \u00f6stlicher Richtung. Der Weg ist mal einfacher und mal schwerer zu finden. Manchmal muss man sich durchs Unterholz schlagen und manchmal muss man durch Wasser waten, aber im Gro\u00dfen und Ganzen ist das Laufen nicht schwierig. Nach knapp 4km kommt der Arch dann pl\u00f6tzlich in Sicht. Da man um zahlreiche Kurven des Gulch l\u00e4uft, sieht man den Arch erst, wenn man fast vor ihm steht. M\u00f6chte man unter den Arch wandern, muss man rechts um ihn herum und von hinten \u00fcber eine Sandd\u00fcne hochklettern. Von vorne ist es sehr schwer den Arch zu erreichen. F\u00fcr den R\u00fcckweg sollte man sich ein wenig Kraft aufheben, denn man muss die Sandd\u00fcne am Schluss wieder nach oben klettern.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1108e88 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1108e88\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Traill\u00e4nge<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">:<\/span><\/strong> ca. 7.8km roundtrip<br \/><strong>H\u00f6henmeter:<\/strong> ca. 265m<br \/><strong>Zeitbedarf:<\/strong> 4-5 Stunden<br \/><strong>Schwierigkeitsgrad:<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">mittel<\/span> &#8211; Der Weg ist im Grunde nicht sehr schwer zu gehen, allerdings muss man ihn manchmal suchen und sich auch manchmal durch das Gestr\u00fcpp schlagen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-de6505d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"de6505d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Unsere Bewertung:<\/span><\/strong> Diese Wanderung stand schon ewig auf unserer Wunschliste und letztlich hat sie alle unsere Erwartungen erf\u00fcllt. Man wandert durch eine tolle Landschaft und man ist so gut wie alleine unterwegs. Die Wanderung bietet ein wenig Abenteuer und am Schluss einen gigantischen Arch. Was wir au\u00dferdem toll fanden waren die gr\u00fcnen B\u00e4ume unten im Gulch. Sie zauberten tolle Farbtupfer zwischen die roten Felsen. Aus diesem Gesichtspunkt w\u00fcrden wir die Wanderung also eher in Jahreszeiten mit Laub an den B\u00e4umen machen.
