underline;\"><strong>Beschreibung:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Der Dead Horse Point SP befindet sich direkt \u00f6stlich des Canyonlands NP, westlich von Moab. Er bietet atemberaubende Aussichten auf eine spektakul\u00e4re Schleife des Colorado River und die Klippen des benachbarten Nationalparks. Der Name des Parks geht auf eine Legende aus dem 20 Jahrhundert zur\u00fcck. Die besondere Form und Lage des Mesas auf dem sich der Park befindet, bot f\u00fcr die Cowboys die M\u00f6glichkeit das Mesa als nat\u00fcrliche Koppel zu nutzen. Den einzigen Zugang bietet <em>The Neck<\/em> ein etwa 27.5m schmale Engstelle. Ansonsten f\u00e4llt das vorstehende Hochplateau an allen Seiten steil zum 600m tiefer liegenden Colorado River ab. Die wilden Mustangs die auf dem Plateau lebten wurde hinein getrieben und die Engstelle wurde mit einem Zaun verschlossen. Die besten Pferde wurden herausgesucht, gez\u00e4hmt und verkauft. Die anderen verendeten auf dem Plateau, in ihrem Gef\u00e4ngnis. Es gibt hier oben n\u00e4mlich keine nat\u00fcrliche Wasserquellen, keine Nahrung und keinen Schatten.<\/p><p>Der Park war schon ein paar mal Kulisse f\u00fcr gro\u00dfe Hollywood Produktionen. So wurden z.B. Der Pass kostet einmalig 250$ und kann am Eingang des jeweiligen Nationalpark, National Monument usw. erworben werden. Der Pass ist 13 Monate lang g\u00fcltig.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1959bfb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1959bfb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Unsere Bewertung:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Wir finden die Aussichten von diesem Cliff einfach atemberaubend. Wir k\u00f6nnen jedem empfehlen die Zeit f\u00fcr diesen kleinen Park zu investieren.
